A Saturday at the Farmer's Market

One of my favorite things to do in San Diego is peruse the farmer's market on the weekends.  They pretty much happen in most neighborhoods throughout the city on varying days of the week.  I've been traveling a bit lately, and currently have some time at home, so I knew that I wanted to make a trip and pick up some fresh produce and flowers for my house.  The farmer's market has the freshest of everything, and it's so colorful and beautiful!  I never eat before I go because I always fill up on all the samples of fresh fruit, amazing cheeses and salamis, and anything else I can get my hands on!

We've got another Santa Ana in San Diego right now, so I knew I wanted to wear something bright that would keep me cool in the heat and the sun.  I chose this yellow and white checkered Sandro dress that I'm pretty much obsessed with, and threw on a pair of white Keds.  Keeping in the pastel family, I wore a pretty pink Philip Lim shoulder bag.  That easy!  The details of my outfit are at the end of the post.

You know it's time to go when your basket is overflowing, you've burned through all your cash, and your arm's about to fall off.  I snagged lots of produce and this beautiful bouquet of eucalyptus and purple wild flowers that has my house smelling wonderful.  What I love about the farmer's market is I always find something new each time I go.  Until next time!
